SCHOA Intro

Welcome to the Sun City Home Owners Association Website

SCHOA’S Mission Statement

“To preserve Sun City property values through the fair and consistent application of the CC&Rs (Conditions, Covenants and Restrictions).”

The Sun City Homeowners Association, Sun City, Arizona, has played an integral role in preserving the values of the Sun City community since 1963. SCHOA serves as an advocate for Sun City residents by embracing the Del Webb philosophy of keeping it simple. The most important function of SCHOA is to enforce the minimal community standards known as the Covenants, Conditions, and Restrictions (CC&Rs).

SCHOA acts as a liaison with Maricopa County regarding the roadways and public safety, appearing at the state legislature addressing political issues and working with other organizations to help keep the air clean. SCHOA continues to maintain the Sun City Telephone Directory, an invaluable tool listing residents’ hometowns and as well as an extensive list of community services.

Over the years, SCHOA has developed and maintained a Business Partners Referral Program which includes a wide selection of businesses and organizations that have met the required criteria. There are guidelines in place that are met and maintained by all business partners. This information is available to all members of the Sun City Home Owners Association.

SCHOA is committed to supporting Sun City by providing educational workshops, Town Hall meetings, seminars and Government Affairs updates.
