Karla moved to Sun City in 2022, from Washington State. Professionally, Karla spent 24 years as a representative for an international aerospace company, managing their US repair station and gaining experience in leadership and problem solving. Locally, she currently is a member of the SCHOA Government Affairs Committee, and a former member of the Sun City in Focus Committee of the RCSC. Karla owns and operates a volunteer community radio station, scazradio.com. As a candidate, Karla said she is proud to call Sun City home and is committed to helping to preserve the unique character and quality of life that makes this community special. She said her focus is on keeping utility rates low and fair, and maintaining a safe and welcoming community. With decades of leadership experience and community service, Karla said she is ready to represent neighbors and protect the values that make Sun City a vibrant place to live.
