Jim Powell

Jim Powell became a winter visitor in 1998 and became full time resident in 2005. He previously lived in California and Wisconsin.

Receiving a degree in Police Science/Administration, Jim attended Fullerton College and California State Long Beach.  He retired from law enforcement after 24 years of service.

Jim previously served on SCHOA’s Board for eight years.  Currently he serves on the Compliance Committee and is co-chairman of the Roads and Safety Committee. He also is a member of the RCSC Bowling Committee, and a past member of RCSC Properties Committee. Jim believes it is important to protect property values and ensure the safety of Sun City residents through communication with local agencies and enforcing our CC&R’s.
