Candidate packages are now available at SCHOA for individuals interested in serving the community as a member of the board of directors for SCHOA.
There are three (3) positions on the nine (9)-member volunteer board to be filled this year.
The term is three (3) years.
The packets contain a summary of candidate requirements and an information form which must be returned to SCHOA no later than October 1st to be on the ballot for the November election.
Election of board members will occur from November 4th through November 17th.
Candidate orientations and a number of events and opportunities for the community to meet the candidates in October and November are scheduled.
The SCHOA board and staff welcome candidates who wish to contribute to our community with their skills, talents, and experience. Current members of the board are available to address questions you may have regarding SCHOA or the requirements of board members.
