Environmental & Water Resources Committee

Purpose

To address all matters of environmental and consumer protection as they relate to Sun City homeowners and their properties.

Responsibilities

The Environmental and Water Resources Committee is responsible for addressing and recommending solutions in all of the following environmental and resource areas:

• Air and noise control
• Flood control
• Toxic waste disposal
• Waste recycling including expansion beyond paper, cardboard, glass and aluminum recycling
• Water resources including quality, quantity and reliability at a reasonable cost
• Promotion of water conservation measures
• Management of water needs and ways to meet them, and
• Maintenance of a constant vigil to ensure the integrity of our water supply.

Meeting Time/Location

The Environmental & Water Resources committee meets in the SCHOA building on the first Tuesday of each month at 10:00 am.
